Prof. WANG Jingyang Awarded the ACerS ECD Bridge Building Award

Prof. WANG Jingyang, Head of the Advanced Ceramics and Composites Division of Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science, has been recently awarded the Bridge Building Award by the ACerS Engineering Ceramics Division (ECD). This award was founded in 2002 and recognizes individuals outside of the United States who have made outstanding contributions to engineering ceramics. Prof. Wang will receive the award and deliver an award lecture at the plenary session of the 46th International Conference & Exhibition of Advanced Ceramics & Composites.

Prof. ZHANG Jie Won the 2021 ICACC Global Star Award

ZHANG Jie, research scientist from Advanced Ceramics and Composites Division of Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science (SYNL), was awarded as the 2021 ICACC Global Star on the 45th International Conference and Exposition on Advanced Ceramics and Composites from Feb. 8th-11th, 2021.

Prof.LU Ke Won the 2020 Future Science Prize

On Sep. 6th, the winners of 2020 Future Science Prize were announced in Beijing on Sunday. Prof. LU Ke, Director of Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science (SYNL), won the Future Science Prize in physical sciences for his pioneering work in synthesizing and discovering nano-twinned structure and gradient nanostructure that simultaneously exhibit superior strength, ductility and conductivity of copper.

SYNL RESEARCHER ELECTED AS APAM ACADEMICIAN

The board meeting of Asia Pacific Academy of Materials (APAM) was recently held in Singapore. Prof. MA Xiuliang from Material Structure and Defect Characterization Division of Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science (SYNL), was elected as an APAM Academician.
