SYNL Youth Forum on Large Scientific Facilities for Materials Research Successfully Held

On October 10-11th, SYNL Youth Forum on Large Scientific Facilities for Materials Research was successfully held at Institute of Metal Research (IMR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The Youth Forum was jointly convened by Li Bing and Zhang Lei, Research Scientists of the Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science (SYNL). More than 40 young researchers and scholars from over 20 institutes and universities were invited, and a total 34 academic reports were delivered. The Youth Forum also attracted more than 160 teachers and students from IMR, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Northeastern University, Shenyang University of Technology, Shenyang Agricultural University and Shenyang University and etc.

2020 SYNL Annual Academic Seminar Sucessfully Held

On January 26th, 2021, the “2020 SYNL Annual Academic Seminar” was successfully held by Shenyang National Laboratory of Material Sciences (SYNL) in the Institute of Metal Research (IMR). Conducted via the intergration of online and offline meeting, this year’s academic seminar was broadcast live on the Internet to researchers and graduate students of both SYNL and IMR. Academician Lu Ke, Director of SYNL, Liu Gang, Deputy Director of IMR, heads of Administration Departments, leaders of the SYNL, and heads of SYNL Research Divisions attended this seminar.

AGREEMENT SIGNED BY SYNL AND CRRC TO BUILD JOINT R&D CENTER

On July 15th, 2020, the agreement signing ceremony and opening ceremony of Joint R&D center by Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science (SYNL) and CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. (CRRC) was held. Lu Ke, Deputy Governor of Liaoning Province and Director of SYNL, An Lijia, Deputy Governor of Jilin Province, Wang Feng, General Manager of CRRC, Sha Miao, Chief Engineer of CRRC, and Zhang Jinsong and Li Xiuyan, Deputy Directors of SYNL attended this ceremony.

SYNL Docking Technologies with Huawei

On March 4th, 2020 Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science (SYNL) held an on-line technology docking meeting with Huawei. Li Xiuyan, Deputy Director of SYNL, Li Xin, General Manager of Huawei Liaoning Digital Government Business Department, as well as Wang Buyun,  Head of Huawei Liaoning Networking Hardware Design,  presented at this meeting.

SYNL Holds the 2019 Annual Meeting

January 8th to 9th，2020，Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science (SYNL) successfully held its annual meeting. This year’s annual meeting concluded two parts, academic reports and summary meeting.
