Professor Yanchun Zhou headed the delegation from IMR (Prof. Jingyang Wang, Mr. Bin Liu, Mr. Jiemin and Ms. Jingjing Li and Ms. Ying Liang) to attend the “34^th International Conference and Exposition On Advanced Ceramics and Composites” held In Daytona Beach, FL, USA during Jan. 24-29, 2010. He received the “Global Star Award”, and also served as organizer of the focused session 3: Computational Design, modeling, simulation and characterization of ceramics.
