1985年6月毕业于吉林大学物理系,获得理学学士学位。同年7月分配到中国科学院金属研究所工作至今。1999年5月和2006年6月在中国科学院金属研究所分别获得工学硕士、博士学位,高级工程师。2004.10-2004.11在荷兰阿姆斯特丹大学范德瓦尔斯-塞曼实验室访问研究。2008.12-2009.07以及2009.12-2010.07在台湾中正大学物理系访问研究。作为主要完成者参加过863和多项国家自然科学基金项目。在机械合金化和氢化方法制备Sm-Fe-N,Pr-Co永磁材料结构与磁性、TbDyPrFeB镨基巨磁致伸缩材料、纳米复合稀土永磁薄膜材料、磁性纳米复合粒子体系的交换偏置、合金的磁卡效应等方面的研究中,取得了一些有应用和学术价值的成果,在国际核心磁学和物理学学术杂志上发表。其中部分工作曾在1994和1995年分别获中国科学院自然科学二等奖和国家自然科学三等奖。最近,在各向异性纳米复合稀土永磁薄交换耦合和矫顽力机制,快淬技术制备的Ni-Mn基赫斯勒合金薄带的马氏体相转变、磁卡效应及交换偏置等领域开展研究工作。已在国际学术刊物上发表SCI收录的论文110余篇,据不完全统计,论文在SCI国际学术刊物上被他人引用550次以上。2001年被评为辽宁省百千万人才工程千人层次人选。现担任中国科学院国际材料物理中心长期成员,辽宁省应用磁学学会理事。

主要从事磁致伸缩材料、纳米复合稀土永磁薄膜材料、磁性纳米复合粒子体系的交换偏置、合金的磁卡效应等方面的研究最近,在各向异性纳米复合稀土永磁薄交换耦合和矫顽力机制,快淬技术制备的Ni-Mn基赫斯勒合金薄带的马氏体相转变、磁卡效应及交换偏置等领域开展研究工作。
