RESEARCH ACHIEVEMENTS

Dr. Liu has been engaged in scientific research on rare earth permanent-magnet materials since 1987. He has joined and performed more than 10 projects such as NSFC projects, National "863" project , Key project of Chinese Academy of Sciences et al. He also takes charge in two NSFC projects. He had been awarded the Second Prize of Natural Science 1994 of Chinese Academy of Science and the National Third Prize of Natural Science 1995 of Chinese National Science Committee, respectively. He has published more than 260 scientific papers in International Journals, applied for 8 patents.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

  1. Long range exchange coupling, magnetic domains, coercivity mechanism and magnetic properties of anisotropic nanocomposite permanent multilayers

  2. Exchange coupling, magnetoelectric coupling, magnetic and electric transport properties in magnetic and ferroelectric multilayers;

  3. Spin-orbit torque switching and magnetic interactions of synthetic antiferromagnetically coupled multilayers

  4. 4The high frequency magneto-electric properties of magnetic/dielectric nanomaterials
